Caring for your CROP linen items
Linen can be laundered with confidence and by caring for your linens thoughtfully, they will live long and age beautifully.
It is important that you select an appropriate washing agent. Many detergents contain additives such as optical brighteners that work very well on white linens but can discolour colored linens. We recommend that you check that your detergent does not contain a whitening agent. If unsure, you can use a soap powder. If you have hard water with a high lime content, we recommend that you use a softener. Please also unfold your linen items completely before washing.
- Hand wash at a maximum temperature of 40º C. Spin dry to remove excess liquid if desired.
- Gentle machine at a maximum temperature of 40º C .
- Do not dry clean.
- Do not bleach.
- Do not wring.
- Line dry. In regions with strong sunlight, we recommend drying linen items with the wrong side receiving direct sunlight.
- Normally we would recommend that you do not tumble dry linen items but with care they can be partially tumble dried on medium. It is important that your linen items are not over-dried. Happily, you will find that damp linen is ideal for pressing out crumples and creases.
- Press on the reverse side with a medium iron with steam, a spray atomiser filled with distilled water or press whilst damp.
Please note that certain clothes can damage our products. Denim jeans are a good example of this. The dye from the jeans can rub off and transfer to our items. This damage will be permanent and cannot be removed from the fabric. Please keep this in mind when wearing and/or using our CROP linen products. Please remember that once the item is in your care, you are responsible for what happens to it.
Shipping charges are determined by the weight of your parcel. To see an accurate shipping charge for your order, please add the items to your cart that you would like to purchase. Visit the cart and under the items listed you will see a drop down menu. Choose your country and the shipping cost for your order will be automatically displayed.
Our items are shipped by La Poste (Colissimo). All orders are insured and require a signature upon receipt. All orders are dispatched from our workshop in Northern France. PayPal or Stripe will send an email confirming that we have received your order. You will receive another email once the order has been shipped which will include the date dispatched, a tracking number and the service used. Please ensure that your shipping address is up to date and correct. Please email us immediately if you need to change an address, confirm an address or if additional delivery instructions are required. CROP reserves the right to charge for all excess shipping charges that arise from an incorrect shipping address.

All of our items are made-to-order. Depending on the size of the order, under normal circumstances we ship orders within 4 – 14 working days. Should our lead times be longer than estimated due to high demand or unforeseeable delays, we will advise you by email. If you would like a more accurate estimate or require your item/s to be shipped earlier, please contact us as soon as possible after placing your order.
All of our fabrics are made of 100% Belgian linen. Slubs and yarn variations are inherent natural characteristics of our fabrics. Images of products in this store show an example of the product and not the actual product you will receive. We make every effort to ensure that the colors are displayed as accurately as possible. However, colours will appear differently from device to device and we cannot guarantee the color display accuracy of your personal device. If for any reason you are unable to place your order through our online store, please email us with your order and shipping address and we will email you a PayPal invoice that you can pay securely online.
We accept payment via Paypal and Stripe. We do not collect your credit card details, your payment is processed securely by your preferred payment gateway. For French customers, we also accept payment via bank transfer or by cheque. Please email us at email@example.com and we will contact you directly regarding your order.
We use Paypal Express checkout which automatically hides your billing address from us and the postal service. This may be of particular interest to our customers who wish to maintain their privacy to the fullest extent.
Refunds & Exchanges
In the event that you are not happy with your purchase, we can refund or exchange the item. We must be informed of your intention to return the item/s within 14 days of receipt of the goods. The item/s must be returned to us unworn, unused and in their original packaging. Please note that we only refund the cost of the item/s not the shipping costs. We will not refund or exchange the item/s until they have been returned to us. When an item/s is being returned to us, you are responsible for the shipping charges. In the event of an exchange, you are responsible for the additional shipping charges in sending the replacement item/s. When an item is being sent back to us, we are not responsible for items lost in transit. We recommend that you insure the goods for their true value. If you have received your order and it has been damaged during postal transit, please contact us so that we can file a claim with the relevant carrier. The same applies for missing or lost parcels. For any claim regarding damage in transit, the item and shipping box must be photographed in order to file the claim.
All prices are in Euros. VAT is not applicable on all orders. This includes parcels destined for the EU or the rest of the world. (TVA non applicable, art. 293 B du CGI) Customs charges and/or duties may be payable upon entry into your country. These charges and/or duties are your responsibility. Visiting the Workshop & Open Hours
Given our location and the fact that our work often prevents us from breaking or putting down our tools, we ask that visitors make an appointment so as to ensure that you have our full attention. We are open between 10 am and 7pm Monday to Friday but we’re happy to schedule studio visits in the evenings and on week-ends too.
Dolfin Chocolate Shipping & Storage
Chocolate is a fragile and complex substance. It is very sensitive to odours, light and variations in temperature: so it is best kept in a cool, dark, dry place, preferably between 14 and 18°C.
Due to these factors, please consider your current local weather conditions before ordering chocolate.
Why isn’t my item branded?
CROP linen items are made to a very high standard, using materials of extraordinary quality. They embody these intrinsic and evident qualities and as such, they can stand on their own merit. We hope that if someone asks you about your CROP linen items that you will share your experience with them and hopefully recommend CROP linen to them.
